Hollywood movie marketing:

(Interactive template creation for Hollywood movie marketing, packaged for the MovieRide FX app)

Working with FlicJam Inc. and More Productions, Waterston made it possible for users of the app to 'star in' and 'share' the trailer of the movie 'School Spirits', along with its cast full of social media stars and influencers!

Making movie trailers interactive and allowing the users to insert themselves into the movie scenes creates a viral share opportunity for the content which distributors and marketers love to access.

2D/3D Logo Animation:

(2D and 3D animation, VFX compositing)

The brief was to create a universal identity logo animation to be used across all brands, using the generic Discovery logo.

 

Waterston Corporate Media animated the generic Discovery logo build for closing screens on productions used across various platforms and channels such as YouTube, Discovery web-site and video screens at 1 Discovery Place.

Interactive video game content:

(Live action green screen VFX, 3D animation, compositing, programming - video integration and interactivity)

Witches, wizards, ghosts and all things fantastical were the order of the day at the annual Discovery Marketing and Sales conference.

The true focus of the “Wizard Academy” was the game component, created by Waterston Entertainment. 4 pods of 80 participants were seated in round-table formation facing a circle of 8 plasmas. On this mysterious “inner circle” the players were able to navigate their way through a series of product-specific, interactive Discovery Chambers and record their scores on electronic tags.

 

Close collaboration between Conference Communications, Waterston Entertainment and Gearhouse was vital to ensure the interactive features ran seamlessly.

Mobile interactive video content:

(Live action green screen VFX, 3D animation, compositing, programming - video integration and interactivity)

Video imagery, stories, animation and special effects were created and made interactive in this international award winning mobile video app, MovieRide FX.

This patent technology was created by Waterston Entertainment for Android and iOS and allows the user to "Be IN the Movies"!

Live event video screen content:

(Custom format production and delivery, 2D and 3D animation, VFX compositing, multi-screen layouts)

Waterston created 'eye-popping' logo animations, animated backgrounds and edited dynamic visuals for giant custom format screens. These created the visual backdrop for a live, musical stage production at the Sun Arena, Menlyn Maine hosted by global medical technology company, Medtronic.

Video imagery and content was edited for giant, various size and aspect ratio LED screens measuring 8 x 4.5m up to 11 x 4m. The content also had to run in sync to soundtracks that would be played by a live orchestra on the evening.
